These are the small, everyday motion bulbs in the GREENIC range: a 9 watt A19 with an infrared (PIR) eye at the top. Mount the bulb pointing down or sideways, and it lights when someone passes within about 10 to 13 feet, then switches off 30 seconds after the movement stops.
A built-in light sensor keeps the bulb dark in daylight. It turns on below about 18 lux and off above about 30 lux, so a bright porch lamp next to it can keep it from ever waking. Put it where no other light falls on the sensor.

What it will not do
An infrared eye cannot see through glass. It needs an open fixture or a bare socket.
It will not light in daylight, even if you walk right under it.
Do not use it with a dimmer or a smart switch.

Well,these are okay,they do trigger and light when see motion,my only complaint is they don,t stay on long enough,and of course no way to set an "on" time!

The bulbs are at a good price, and they are quite bright, but the sensor only seems to work on one side, so if an intruder isn't on that side, they're pretty much useless--the bulbs that is. the other down side is the light doesn't stay on very long. Color is bright white which is a plus at night. They are easy to install just like a standard lightbulb.

As expected, it is perfect when I get to in to my hallway from the garage. It turns on as needed and with no issues. Turns off after a couple seconds. It is bright and energy efficient because it only turns on when u need it. So worth it. I will always buy this in the future.
