A tall, slim night light with a clear acrylic arch that glows from the base. It plugs straight into the wall with flat US pins, sits low enough to leave the second outlet free, and draws half a watt.
A small sensor on the front turns it on when the room gets dark and off when light comes back. Blue and red glow in one color. The multicolor version has a bubble-pattern shade and cycles through eight colors.

Very dim like I wanted, unless you look right at them since the outline is bright. I just wanted to be able to basically see the outline of the baby's bassinet next to our bed, and they do the trick! I have it out of our line of sight from the bed, but in her room I have one in a higher outlet up by an AC sleeve, since I figure she's not looking right at it there either.

Bought these to put in the bedroom for when daughter comes to visit with new baby. While the colors are pretty I found that they barely out out any light at all. If they were a little brighter they would be great. If you are looking for an actual night light I would pass on these.

I only wanted one but they came in a four-pack so I shared two with a friend and kept two for myself. He is 82 years old and that's where I saw this was in his kitchen. They continuously change colors and have a built-in light sensor. I like that I don't have to turn them off to save energy, they go off automatically.
